When these little Mazda 121's started to appear back in 1994 I really wanted one. Looking at them now I'm not sure what was going on in my head back then, but, they are incredibly cute and quite an interesting design, I suppose. The Mazda 121 was nick-named "The Bubble" or "The Jellybean" or "The Hat". They were produced between 1991 - 1995 and not many seemed to be on our streets at that time so I am guessing they weren't massive seller.
I remember seeing a "pimped" one of these driving around Soho Square in London one Saturday night; it made me laugh out loud.
